Th...Not to mention the possibility of Jury Service! The registers are actually sent to the main credit agencies so yes, it will allow them to locate people. Apparently not being on the register will affect your credit rating. It seems a shame though that there isn't a more pro-active campaign around registration time to encourage people to sign up.
